Petco Petroleum Corporation is an independent oil and natural gas producer headquartered in Hinsdale, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

Petco specializes in operating mature oil and gas fields that still have significant reserves.  Production is optimized and operating expenses are controlled to create high yield, long term energy investments.

Petco has over 200 employees and operates wells and facilities in Mississippi, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma and Texas.  Producing wells total more than 1200 along with about 500 water injection wells for secondary recovery operations.

Petco also operates proprietary pipelines, compressor stations, electric generating plants and other energy facilities.
